Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you are inspired to visit the Isle of Skye and especially our cottage on the southern tip of the island looking across the Sound of Sleat to Mallaig and Knoydart wilderness on the mainland.

So what is special about the cottage and Calligarry...?

The cottage is situated high on the hillside giving spectacular panoramic views across the Sound of Sleat to the mainland.
Sited in the quiet and tiny crofting township of Calligarry it's an idyllic holiday retreat.
Wild-life galore!
The cottage is nestled into the hillside and surrounded on all sides by working croftland.
Seals can be seen basking on the rocks in the bay
A bird watchers paradise with all types of birds including rare visits by Sea Eagles.
Vehicle access to the house is at the end of a newly constructed track.
It provides a beautiful and comfortable holiday base with a shop, post office, a pub serving good food (Ardvaserhotel.com), tourist shops and the ferry (which sails to and from Mallaig on the mainland) all within walking distance.
